Postimees

"Estonia has set standards in the public sphere digitization, which is also one of the priorities of the Polish government. Our business card in the international area are payment systems, and highly specialized employees of the IT industry contribute to the high investment attractiveness of our country."

***

"The Kremlin would like to see our entire region as an easily controlled puppet. And maybe the times and methods of Moscow's pressure on the Baltic states have changed, our attitude remains the same - we say a firm "no!" to neo-imperial attempts."

***

"Alexander Lukashenko is trying to destabilize our internal situation through artificially induced migratory pressure at the borders of the Baltic states. He not only wants to test the security of our borders - the external borders of the EU and NATO - but also the unity of the Union and the Alliance. It may be a lost cause […]."

***

"Lukashenko risks lives and health of people that he smuggles from Iraq and the Middle East not to help them but to use them as a tool to harm its western neighbours. Lukashenko's intentions are clear - he intends to repeat the migration crisis 5-6 years ago. The date is also not accidental too. It is the day before the Zapad-21 Russian-Belarusian military exercises and in the midst of difficult evacuation mission from Kabul."

***

"Geopolitics is a game on a large chessboard in which Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia have been fighting with Russia for centuries, which is why we can foresee the next moves. Today it is our common duty to protect the entire transatlantic community from the attempt to hold us in check, that threatens us from the East."

Eesti Paevaleht

"I am glad that EU today have no issues with decoding Lukashenka's policy. Together with the European Commission, we speak with one strong voice: this kind of Belarusian aggression cannot unseal our borders and cause a new crisis. It can be seen that the Union this time make much more realistic assessment of the threat posed by a mass, uncontrolled migration. I am glad that Poland, Estonia and the other Baltic states have reacted to this crisis in a uniform and coordinated manner."

***

"I am very clear about the US-German agreement on Nord Stream 2: it’s a big mistake. But we must also look at the bigger picture. The West must resist the temptation to play "business as usual" politics. Behind-the-scenes dealings with Kremlin always ends badly for our part of Europe. That is why Poland will do everything to prevent the repeat of playing schemes of politics above our heads."

***

"Among the extremely important tasks in the field of digitization, we expect to implement an electronic delivery system, modernize the digital identity service, and further develop broadband Internet. To meet these challenges, we will certainly benefit from the experience of Estonia, the most digitized country in the world."

***

"Poland and Estonia are coping well with post-pandemic challenges, and that the countries in our region have stable and resilient economies. Thanks to the tools in our hands we will decide on the future of Europe. We will certainly not miss this opportunity when acting together."
