Meeting at the University of Jordan in Amman - NAWA and learning Polish

10th of this month the ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Lucjan Karpiński, and the consul of the Republic of Poland, Adrian Browarczyk, met with the authorities of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and students of the University of Jordan in Amman to promote the study of the Polish language in the country. The meeting was attended by a Polish teacher, Paweł Rogalski, delegated by the National Agency for Academic Cooperation, and representatives of the office.
During the meeting, they discussed the Polish language teaching program at the university and in the country, the scholarship offer of the National Agency for Academic Cooperation addressed to students and lecturers of Jordanian universities, and the possibilities of undertaking or continuing studies in Poland.
As a result of cooperation between NAWA and the University of Jordan in Amman, a Polish language course at the University of Jordan was established at the university in the winter semester of the academic year 2023-2024. Approximately 40 students of various specializations in foreign language learning participate in the classes.
