Visit of the President of the Republic of Poland

The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, paid an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on November 18-20, 2024.
The visit took place on the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Poland and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. After meeting with King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al-Hussein, the President was awarded the highest Jordanian decoration, the Supreme Order of the Renaissance, by the monarch. King Abdullah II was honored by the President of the Republic of Poland with the highest Polish decoration, the Order of the White Eagle, awarded for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
The leaders of both countries participated in a joint display of Polish and Jordanian special forces. The display took place at the KASOTC training center, where the President of the Republic of Poland also awarded Gen. Yousef Huneiti, the head of the Jordanian general staff, with the Cross of Merit of the Order of the Republic of Poland (4th class), for his outstanding contribution to the development of Polish-Jordanian military cooperation.
During the visit, the President of the Republic of Poland also met with Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan.
The last visit of the President of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom took place in 2016. King Abdullah II visited Poland in 2021.
