The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Kenya's largest membership-based trade support institution dedicated to safeguarding the commercial and industrial interests of the Kenyan business community, creating a favorable trade and investment environment that supports business expansion. The Chamber has more than 10,000 members. companies, has a National Office and Regional Chamber Offices in all 47 Counties.
The main objective of the meeting was to support bilateral trade relations between Kenya and Poland. President E. Rutto and Ambassador M. Gojdź, together with representatives of the Kenyan branch of Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), held talks on the future of trade relations between Kenya and Poland and explored potential areas of cooperation. The possibility of KNCCI's involvement in the organization of the Polish-Kenyan Economic Forum as an element of the economic component accompanying the visit of the President of the Republic of Poland to Kenya was also discussed. The proposal was enthusiastically accepted, and it was jointly assessed that the forum would be an excellent platform for companies from both countries to present their products, discuss potential partnerships and deepen economic ties between our nations. The President of KNCCI stated that he can see the great potential that exists in the enhanced partnership with Poland, which is why the Chamber is committed to working closely with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to use this potential and pave the way for a prosperous future for both nations. KNCCI will keep members and stakeholders informed of any jointly planned events and outcomes of the collaboration, looking forward to a lively and fruitful relationship with its Polish counterpart. Therefore, a KNCCI delegation will visit Poland in September to establish direct relations with the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
