Ambassador Jacek Bazański presented his credentials in the Federal Republic of Somalia

On November 3, 2020 in Mogadishu, Ambassador Jacek Bazański presented his credentials to the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed.

The ceremony was preceded by a meeting with the new State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Balal Mohamed Osman, to whom Ambassador Jacek Bazański handed over copies of his credentials. On this occasion, the Polish-Somali cooperation up-to-date and the prospects for its deepening in the political, economic and development spheres, as well as on the multilateral fora, were discussed.

Ambassador Jacek Bazański is the first head of a Polish diplomatic post officially accredited in the Federal Republic of Somalia since 1985.
