Polish-Kenyan Business Forum of Chambers of Commerce under the patronage of the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi

On July 15, the Polish-Kenyan Business Forum of Chambers of Commerce took place for the first time, organized under the patronage of the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi.
The forum was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, the President of the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kenya (KNCCI) and the Vice-President of the Polish National Chamber of Commerce (KIG). The guest of honor was the Governor of Homa Bay County, Mrs. Gladys Wanga. During the forum, memoranda of understanding were signed between the national chambers of commerce in Warsaw and Nairobi, as well as between the regional chambers of commerce in Białystok and Mombasa. Letters of intent were also exchanged between the chambers of commerce in Suwałki and Malindi, and between the University of Białystok and the universities of Nairobi and Mount Kenya. The representation of the Embassy of Poland and Polish and Kenyan businesses was received by Mr. Juma Mukhwan, acting Minister of Trade, Investment and Industry.
During the Forum, a B2B meeting session was held, which provided an opportunity to establish numerous business relationships between the mission of 9 Polish companies representing the IT, agrotechnical, furniture and tourism sectors accompanying the Forum and entrepreneurs associated with the Kenyan chambers of commerce. At the end of the KIG mission to Kenya on July 16, at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, a networking reception was held for forum participants, which was an excellent opportunity to establish valuable business contacts, exchange experiences and acquire new clients.
