On the occasion of Europe Day 2024, the Delegation of the European Union in Nairobi, in cooperation with the embassies of the Member States, organized a U-18 football tournament for boys and girls.

Młodzieżowy turniej piłkarski z okazji Dnia Europy

The final of the tournament was held at the Ulinzi Stadium in Nairobi on 17 May. The girls' competition was won by the Kobala team from Homa Bay County, and the boys' competition was won by Dagoretti Mixed from Nairobi.

The Embassy of Poland in Nairobi, thanks to the support of the Polish Football Association, prepared a number of awards for the tournament participants, including a special prize - a Polish national team shirt signed by Karol Świderski, which was given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament from the Kobala team.
