Inauguration of the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Madagascar

On January 13, 2020, Ambassador of Poland in Nairobi, Mr. Jacek Bazański, officially re-opened the Honorary Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Madagascar in the elevated class, by decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. The ceremony was attended by the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi, Mrs. Anna Bazańska, members of the Polish diaspora, representatives of the Malagasy administration and local media.

Otwarcie Honorowego Konsulatu Generalnego RP na Madagaskarze

Consul Zbigniew Kasprzyk has been the head of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Madagascar continuously since 1998. In December 2017 he was granted with the Bene Merito award, a distinction awarded by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, for his continuous efforts aimed at promoting and strengthening Poland's good name and position in Madagascar.
