Poland donates vaccines to Kenya

On September 13th at the Nairobi National Vaccine Depot, 211,200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine have officially been transferred to Kenya.
The event was attended, on behalf of the transferor - chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Anna Bazańska, deputy head of the European Union Delegation Katrin Hagemann, chairman of the task force for vaccines from the Ministry of Health, Dr. Willis S. Akhwale and ambassador Arthur A. Andambi of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kenya. Vaccines will be delivered to regional centers later this week. The Kenyan partners emphasized that the gift received from Poland will contribute to accelerating the vaccination program in Kenya. Information about the vaccine donation also appeared in a number of Kenyan media outlets, including the Monday issue of news on KBC Channel1 News.
