The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi financed the initiative entitled "Rehabilitation of the Nandi County Fire Brigade Station."

On March 3, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi officially opened a fire brigade station in Nandi County, renovated under small grants programme.

The aim of the project was to renovate and retrofit the fire brigade station in Nandi County, which allowed to improve the working conditions and efficiency of firefighters, increase their motivation, allow to take full advantage of the skills acquired during training organized under previous projects co-financed by Polish Aid, and significantly improved the safety of the residents of this region.
