Polish Aid 2021: rehabilitation of the fire brigade station in Tharaka Nithi County, Kenya

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi financed the initiative entitled "Rehabilitation of the Tharaka Nithi County Fire Brigade Station."
On March 8, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi officially opened a fire brigade station in Tharaka Nithi County, renovated under small grants programme.
The aim of the project was to renovate and retrofit the fire brigade station in Tharaka Nithi County, which allowed to improve the working conditions and efficiency of firefighters, increase their motivation, allow to take full advantage of the skills acquired during training organized under previous projects co-financed by Polish Aid, and significantly improved the safety of the residents of this region.
