On March 7-8, 2024, the Polish Embassy in Nairobi organized the Polish Film Festival at Kenyatta University.

During the two days of the festival, three Polish films were screened: Never ever, Gods and It's Like to Live, as well as 19 short productions prepared by students of the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
The event was solemnly inaugurated by Ambassador Mirosław Gojdź, Joanna Szymańska, Deputy Head of Mission, the university authorities and Magdalena Szymków, Head of the Department of Experimental Film and Head of the Applied Film and Sound Design Studio at the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
