"Video conference center to facilitate cancer care in Kenya” project completed
30.11.2021
On November 30, a ceremonial ending of the project under the "small grants": "Video conference center to facilitate cancer care in Kenya and East Africa" took place.
The event took place at the HCG-CCK cancer treatment center. During the meeting, the videoconference room was presented by connecting in the ZOOM with three people, who commented on the importance of Faraja on their way to health and how much easier it will be to connect online with medical staff.
The new equipment provides space for virtual seminars, support groups and meetings of medical teams, which is extremely important in the era of COVID-19 and limitations in interpersonal meetings, while cancer patients are a particularly vulnerable group that requires protection. Thanks to the possibility of meeting in virtual groups, patients are not left without support. Another very important function of a videoconference center gives the possibility of consulting doctors in groups from all over the world.
