Information on the rules of applying for visas in the framework of the government programme „POLAND BUSINESS HARBOUR”

Since  13th July, 2021 programme „POLAND BUSINESS HARBOUR”  covers the following states:  Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldavia, Russia and Ukraine.  

The rules for participation in the programme are described on the website: https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour  A special hotline has been launched for people interested in the programme.  Programme is dedicated to 3 groups of the representatives of the IT sector:

  1.  IT specialists;
  2. Start-ups;
  3. SMEs and large enterprises

Rules of applying for a visa for specific groups of IT sector

 

1. IT specialists:

To simplify the visa procedure for this group of foreigners, who apply individually for a visa with annotation „PBH” , the foreigner should submit:

  1. a filled-in application for a national visa with a photo;
  2. an invitation from one of partner companies (the list is available on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour)  interested in employing the foreigner, as well as one of the two documents (to choose from):

a) a document certifying the technical education (ICT), or

b) a document certifying at least one-year experience in the field of information and communication technologies

2a. (version for Belarus) an invitation from one of the partner companies (the list available on the website j https://www.gov.pl/web/poland-businessharbour)  interested in employing the foreigner or a document certifying technical education (ICT), or a document certifying at least 1-year experience in the field of information and communication technologies. 

  1. a valid passport issued in the last 10 years,  which  has at least two clear pages, and does not expire sooner  than 3 months after the expiration date of visa.
  1. travel medical insurance valid in the period of validity of the visa (unless a foreigner has an insurance in Poland  that entitles him to publicly-funded health benefits).

In case one applies for a visa together with the family (a spouse, dependent children), one needs to submit the following documents for the minors:

  1. a national visa application signed by the parents (legal guardians of the child) or one of the parents, if only this parent is entitled to parental responsibility. If only one of the child’s parents/ legal guardians applies for a visa with “PBH” annotation, they have to submit a written, notarized consent of another parent to apply for a visa. If there is only one legal guardian, it has to be documented by submitting the birth certificate, a court decision on sole parental responsibility or another parent’s death certificate;
  2. Passports of the parents – original (for inspection) and a copy,
  3. Child’s birth certificate – original (for inspection) and a copy.

 

2. Start-ups:

To simplify the visa procedure for this category of foreigners applying for a visa with annotation „PBH” with the recommendation of Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the foreigner needs to submit:

  1. a filled-in and signed national visa application with a photo;
  2. information that the person is qualified to the programme Poland Prize;
  3. a valid passport issued in the last 10 years that has at least two clear pages, and does not expire sooner than 3 months after the expiry date of the visa;
  4. travel medical insurance valid in the period of validity of the visa (unless a foreigner has an insurance in Poland that entitles him to publicly-funded health benefits).

In case one applies for a visa together with the family (a spouse, dependent children), one has to submit the following documents for the minors:

  1. a national visa application signed by the parents (child’s legal guardians) or one of the parents, if only this parent is entitled to parental responsibility. 3. SMEs and large enterprises

To simplify the visa application procedure for this category of foreigners, who apply for visa with annotation „PBH”  with the recommendation of Polish Agency for Investment and Trade, the foreigner must submit:

  1. Filled-in and signed national visa application with  a photo;
  2. Information that the person is qualified to the programme by PAIH;
  3. Valid passport issued in the last 10 years which has at least  two clear pages, and expires not sooner that 3 months after the expiry date of the visa;
  4. Travel medical insurance valid in the period of validity of the visa (unless the foreigner has an insurance in Poland that entitles him to publicly-funded health benefits).

In case one applies for a visa together with the family (a spouse, dependent children), one needs to submit the following documents for the minors:
