Poland in Lebanon

On July 23^rd 2020, in connection with Poland’s assumption of the presidency of the Visegrad Group, the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Beirut organized a meeting attended by the Ambassadors of Hungary, the Czech Republic and chargé d'affaires a.i. of Slovakia. It was carried out in the formula of a morning trekking to the highest peak of Lebanon - Qurnat As Sawda (3088m above sea level). The trekking was followed by a lunch, during which Ambassador Niesiołowski presented the most important program assumptions of the Polish presidency in "V4". The Polish initiative was enthusiastically received by the participants and proved to be an excellent opportunity to strengthen relations within the Visegrad Group representations accredited in Beirut, at the same time clearly initiating the Polish presidency of the "V4".
