Poland in Libya

On September 7, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland participated on-line in Tallinn Digital Summit. He wrote an article for the Estonian daily "Postimees" and had been interviewed by another daily "Eesti Paevaleht", touching upon international issues i.e. Belarus, illegal migration and other regional matters. Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been receiving reports of phone scams in which fraudsters claim to be either MFA’s employees or employees of Polish missions abroad to get the call recipients perform certain actions, especially money transfers. Usually, during the phone conversation scammers will inform you that you have failed to follow certain procedures or provided partial or false data while filling out forms, which will allegedly bring about legal consequences.

"The benefit of having our own currency, the Polish zloty, is precisely that we are able to conduct an independent and autonomous monetary policy which we consider to be an important shock absorber".

As part of the project "Telling Poland to the World - Polish Innovations" - realized by the Institute of New Media, we recommend the lecture of an article written by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, on the economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. "Poland will use the time after the pandemic to refashion its economic and social system so that it is more crisis-proof and equitable, setting the country on a new path of development".
