On 10 October 2020, chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland to the State of Libya, Mrs. Justyna Porazińska, presented her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord, Mohamed al-Taher Siala, and had the opportunity to discuss prospects for development of bilateral cooperation, based on good traditions of Polish-Libyan relations.

The event was part of the official visit to Libya of the new heads of missions of the EU Member States, the EU Delegation in Tripoli and Norway, who presented their letters of credence on that day. During the visit to Tripoli, guests attended plenary meetings with the President of the Presidential Council and Prime Minister, Faiz as-Serraj, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, M. T. Siala, and the President of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla. The participants of the delegation conveyed to the local authorities the common position of the EU countries on the situation in Libya, focusing on the recognition of the Berlin Process as the only option to end the Libyan crisis and avoid further destabilization of the situation in the country and the entire region, and called for active involvement in the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF ) organized under the auspices of the United Nations. On their part, the hosts emphasized their satisfaction with the visit of the heads of diplomatic missions of EU Member States, interpreting this event as an expression of support for the ongoing political process in Libya.
