The Competition for the Best Tourism Product - Certificate of the Polish Tourism Organization is a unique project in which Poland’s best tourism products are selected.

The certificates handed over by the Polish Tourism Organization are a form of recommendation and a guarantee of top-level services. They are an element of promoting Poland as an attractive tourist destination,

- emphasized Secretary of State Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, Prime Minister’s plenipotentiary for the Polish brand promotion.

The PTO certificates are awarded by the Award Committee appointed by the President of the Polish Tourism Organization and composed of renowned experts in tourism, marketing and tourism product construction and promotion, as well as representatives of academic institutions and the media.

The Competition for the Best Tourism Product - PTO Certificate has been held for twenty years. It has annually extended the list of new exceptional places on the map of Poland and has identified surprising attractions. This year's anniversary edition is an excellent opportunity to summarize the two decades and the way our country’s tourism industry has travelled. I would lkie to congratulate all those who have received the award. I believe that they will not only maintain the top service level but will further develop their offers for visitors from Poland and abroad,

- said PTO president Rafał Szmytke.

This year, the entries submitted for the competition in accordance with the Competition Rules included 42 tourism products competing in the PTO Certificate category, 10 products in the Gold Certificate category and 14 products in the category of Tourism Discovery of the Year. In total, there were 66 entries at the national level.

All certified tourism products will be covered by a special promotion programme of the Polish Tourism Organization. In addition, the Gold Certificate winner will receive a promotion campaign worth PLN 200 thousand.

The main award, the PTO Gold Certificate was handed over to Bieszczady Railbike Tours. The Award Committee selected, in total, 10 best tourism products that received a PTO Certificate. Also, three other prizes were awarded. The Online Voters’ Certificate went to Kraina Górnej Odry [Upper Odra River Area] supported by nearly half of the voters, and the title of Tourism Discovery of the Year went to Świętokrzyskie Mountains Park of Legends.

During the ceremony President of the Polish Tourism Organization Rafał Szmytke thanked representatives of Regional Tourism Organizations that have conducted the regional-level competition for 20 years and presented them with commemorative anniversary plates.
