Marta Pawlak

Marta Pawlak is an attorney, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw as well as the Center for American Law Studies that is a joint initiative by the University of Florida and the University of Warsaw. She also completed the LL.M. studies on international business law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

For many years, Marta has been collaborating with Polish and American entities with respect to, in particular, the commercial law, the companies and partnerships law, the civil law, the competition law, the intellectual property law and the personal data protection law. She gained her professional experience in the largest law firms in Poland and in the public sector. At present, she works for the American Chamber of Commerce where she is responsible for legal representation, participation in legislative initiatives and collaboration with the Polish public sector and the EU agendas. She also provides legislative support to Startup Poland, a group of innovative entrepreneurs who want to develop the awareness of the great potential of startups. Marta is also a member of the Startup Poland’s Foundation Council. In private life, she loves Portugal, high mountain hiking and bicycle trips.
