On April 22, on the occasion of the World Earth Day, Ambassador Joanna Tarnawska took part in the initiative of the Visegrad Group countries entitled “V4 Green Corridor for Abuja”.

Ambassadors of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary supported the activities of the local Abuja community for the protection of the natural environment and afforestation of urban areas. The V4 Group funded the creation of a 300-meter green corridor along one of the main expressways of the capital. The symbolic first two trees were planted together by the V4 Ambassadors during the Earth Day celebrations in Nigeria.
