Poland in the OSCE

The speakers of this year’s Winter Session included the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Chair, Mr. George Tsereteli, UNHCHR Ms. Michelle Bachelet,  President of the Austrian National Council Wolfgang Sobotka, OSCE Secretary General Mr. Thomas Greminger, Representative on the Freedom of the Media Mr. Harlem Desir and High Commissioner on National Minorities Mr. Lamberto Zannier.

The polish parliamentarians took part in the debates of the Political Affairs and Security Committee, the Economic Affairs, Science, Technology & Environment Committee and the Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions Committee. The topic of this year’s special debate was combating antisemitism, tolerance and non-discrimination. In the frame of the side-events accompanying the sessions a report on the investigation into Boris Nemtsov’s death was presented by the Vice-president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Ms. Margarete Cederfelt.
