Poland in Pakistan

On October 29, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad with Mr. Ambassador Maciej Pisarski participated in the next edition of EuroVillage, an event organized by the EU Delegation to Pakistan. A venue for the event was the courtyard of the Pakistan National Council of Arts.
As the event was held for the first time after the break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, this year's edition was widely welcomed by the local population. Having noted with satisfaction that the stand made by the Embassy staff has been visited by numerous visitors throughout the event, which lasted several hours.

Among the attractions for the youngest visitors of the Polish Embassy stand was i.a. drawing and coloring corner for girls. Boys, on the other hand, have been demonstrating their football skills by playing games using caps that served as both players and ball. Apart from that, the stand offered a number of illustrated materials promoting Poland drawing particularly youngest children's attention.

There were also specialties of the Polish cuisine. The tables at the stand were filled with pierogi, which, due to their similarity to the local favorite samosa, quickly became one of the culinary attractions of EuroVillage.
