Poland in Pakistan

Along with representatives of Pakistani authorities, the Polish community in Pakistan, members of the diplomatic corps, business circles and partners and friends, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad celebrated 105. anniversary of regaining independence. Mr. Murtaza Solangi, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, was this year's guest of honour.
In his speech, Ambassador Maciej Pisarski highlighted the achievements of Poland and Pakistan in terms of both bilateral and international cooperation. Referring to the crises and challenges that the international community is currently facing, he stressed the need to continue to support Ukraine's fight against Russian aggression and thus defend the principles of international law, including sovereignty, the territorial integrity of states, the right to self-determination and respect for human rights.
The event was concluded, as in the previous years, with the Polish jazz recital. Pelican System feat. Bartosz Szablowski performed compositions inspired by Polish cinematography.
