Information on the exemption from the obligatory quarantine for persons travelling to Poland

Quarantine is not required when crossing the Polish border for persons who have been issued a COVID certificate of vaccination with a vaccine authorized for use in the European Union (fully vaccinated, 14 days after the last dose).

According to the current regulations, quarantine is not required when crossing the Polish border for persons who have been issued a COVID certificate of vaccination with a vaccine authorized for use in the European Union (full vaccinated, 14 days after the last dose). Currently the authorised for the use in the European Union are vaccines of 4 companies: BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV.

The vaccination certificate should be issued in Polish or English and has to include the following details:
1.    Name and surname of the vaccinated person;
2.    Information about having received full vaccination – a person is considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after the last dose;
3.    Name of the vaccine – it has to be a product approved for use in the EU.

Persons who present vaccination certificate meeting the above-mentioned criteria also do not count towards limits of gatherings participants or maximum occupancy in hotel rooms.
