Marcin Kierwiński
Born on August 22, 1976, in Warsaw. A Polish politician and local government official.
A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, and Production Engineering. In 2003, he completed postgraduate studies at the "Orgmasz" Institute. Between 2000-2007, he worked at PZL Warsaw-Okęcie. In 2006, he was elected to the Warsaw City Council. In 2007, he became the vice-president of the board of IF Max-Film, and between 2007-2010, he was the vice-president of the Warsaw-Modlin Airport board. In 2010, he became the deputy marshal of the Masovian voivodeship. Since 2011, he has served as a Member of Parliament. In 2015, he assumed the position of Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and head of the political cabinet of Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz. In 2020, he was appointed by the national council of the Civic Platform as the party's secretary-general. On December 13, 2023, he was appointed as the Minister of the Interior and Administration. In May 2024, he obtained a mandate to the European Parliament, which he resigned to re-enter the Council of Ministers in September. Currently, Marcin Kierwiński coordinates activities related to the reconstruction of flood-affected areas.
