2nd edition of Qatar-Poland New Tech Forum

On November 21st the Embassy organized the 2nd Qatar-Poland New Tech Forum, in cooperation with the Qatar-Poland Business Council and the Qatar Financial Center. The partners of the event were: Qatar Free Zone Authorities, Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, Microsoft Qatar, Qatar Science & Technology Park and the Qatari Businessmen Association.

Among the speakers at the forum were Mr. Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy, the Minister of State, President of the Qatar Free Zone Authority, H.E. Mr. Ahmad Mohammed Al Sayed, H.E. Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, H.E. Sheikha Alanoud Bint Hamad Al-Thani, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officer, Qatar Financial Center as well as Mr. Yosouf Abdulrahman Al-Salehi, Executive Director, Qatar Science & Technology Park.

The plenary session was followed by presentations and B2B meetings. 20 Polish companies from sectors such as: IT, online marketing, data management, recycling, advertising, telemedicine, water systems, airspace management, gas industry, medical diagnostics, industrial drones and electromobility took part. In total, over 80 business meetings took place during the event, attended by 12 Qatari companies. Local economic institutions conducted separate talks.
