7th edition of the Qatar International Boat Show

On November 16th Ambassador Janusz Janke attended the opening ceremony of the 7th edition of the Qatar International Boat Show with participation by various Qatari officials, including the Minister of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari.
During the conversation with the president of Al Mannai Events W.L.L, Mr. Khalid Eisa K. Al Mannai, the Ambassador congratulated on organizing such an event in very challenging macro-economic conditions, arousing interest from local entrepreneurs and yacht enthusiasts. He expressed the conviction that Polish companies will participate in next year's edition of the show, emphasizing that the Polish boating industry is one of the biggest in the world and the largest in the European Union.
In 2018 alone exports of Polish yachts accounted for 60 % of total yacht exports of the EU and amounted to 395 mln EUR. The sector comprised around 1000 which employed around 45 000 people. Polish shipyards launched roughly 22000 yachts and other leisure water craft.
Qatar International Boat Show is one of the most prestigious fair events in Qatar, during which leading manufacturers and distributors in this sector have the opportunity to present the leading brands of water craft, equipment and accessories.
