Poland in Qatar

Ambassador emphasized the potential for further development of the Polish-Qatari cooperation in this area. He drew attention to the fact that the Qatari side expressed appreciation for the high standards of education provided to the Qatari Coast Guard cadets at the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia in recent years and expressed his satisfaction that the number of cadets at the academy has increased from 10 to 15 per year. The Minister expressed his support to the deepening of meaningful Polish-Qatari military relations, including strengthening of the legal and treaty framework in this regard. He emphasized the readiness to share Poland's experience in assuring security at high visibility events in the context of the organization by Qatar of the FIFA World Cup 2022
