The Polish side was represented by Mr. Janusz Janiszewski, the President of PANSA, and the Qatar by Ahmed Mohamed Al-Eshaq, director of the QCAA Air Navigation Department. The letter assumes cooperation between the parties in the area of air traffic safety improvement, implementation of modern solutions to improve the management of this traffic, including not only civil aircraft, but also unmanned aerial vehicles.

The signing of the letter is the result of the efforts of, among others, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, which in November 2020 invited both institutions to participate in the Polish-Qatari virtual roundtable and then supported their efforts to launch bilateral cooperation.
