Polish flag raised in Doha Corniche

On March 29, the ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Janusz Janke, took part in the flag-raising ceremony of the countries whose national teams have recently qualified to play at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions and fans of the national teams of Poland, Morocco, Senegal, Ghana, Canada, Tunisia, Portugal, Ecuador and Cameroon, representatives of local and international media, as well as HE Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Hassan Al Thawadi whose institution is responsible for the preparation of the tournament on the Qatari side.
