Cooperation in the field of higher education

On October 20 H.E. Mr. Janusz Janke met with the President of Qatar University, Dr. Hassan Rashid Al Derham and the Director of International Affairs Office, Mr.Cesar Wazen. The talks focused on the cooperation between Qatar University and Polish universities as well as joint implementation of initiatives in the field of science and education.

Dr. Hassan Rashid Al-Derham emphasized that the university has already collaborated with Polish universities and academic staff. The Director of International Affairs Office added that from the perspective of students in Qatar, the most attractive areas of academic exchange are medicine, information technology and broadly understood engineering. On the Polish side, learning Arabic would certainly be an interesting area of ​​cooperation.

Qatar University is a leading academic center in Qatar, where over 2,400 students pursue their studies. 

QU offers the widest range of academic programs -- 47 Bachelors, 29 Masters, 20 Ph.D. programs, nine Diplomas, and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)-- in Qatar tailoring them to meet the needs of Qatari society. Research is an integral part of the academic environment at QU and is bolstered by the state-of-the-art Research Complex, and 14 research centers of excellence.
