Cooperation of the Qatar-Poland Business Council with the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce

On February 3-4, at the invitation of the Qatar-Poland Business Council (QPBC), the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha participated in online meetings with the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. The discussions covered the establishment of working cooperation between the institutions in order to strengthen the economic ties between Poland and Qatar.
During the videoconference, representatives of the organizations presented their achievements and the priorities for 2021. QPBC management highlighted the characteristics of the Qatari market, pointing to the challenges, but also promising sectors in which Qatari partners expressed interest in purchasing Polish products, technological solutions and services. In this regard, there is a number of synergies between the interests of QPBC members and chambers of commerce operating in Poland. The interlocutors expressed their interest in the practical institutionalization of cooperation, exchange of information and the organization of joint events in 2021, which shall be also attended by credible entrepreneurs from Qatar. In turn, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha emphasized its support for initiatives aimed at supporting Polish-Qatari trade and investment transactions as well as readiness to become involved in the organization of events promoting Poland as attractive economic destination for Qatar.
