Cooperation with the Center for International and Regional Studies Georgetown University - Qatar

The activities, priorities and development plans of the Center for International and Regional Studies at Georgetown University - Qatar were the subject of a meeting between Tomasz Sadziński, head of the diplomatic mission and Zahra R. Babar, executive director of the center specializing in migration research. The interlocutor also presented the areas of activity of Georgetown University - Qatar. She drew attention to the center's publishing activity and presented the scope of cooperation with the parent university in Washington. Possibilities of cooperation between the center and the embassy, as well as, potentially, with Polish academic and analytical centers were discussed.
Taking advantage of the meeting, the head of the mission presented the ecosystem of think tanks in Poland, confirming their interest in tightening cooperation with their partners in Qatar. This will be confirmed by the planned presence of Polish analysts dealing with the Middle East and North Africa at this year's edition of the Doha Forum, which will be held on 7th and 8th December.
The Georgetown University – Qatar Center for International and Regional Studies was established in 2005.
