Poland in Qatar

On December 7-8, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Robert Kupiecki, took part in Doha Forum 2024.

 During the panel entitled “Global Stakes in the New Phase of the War in Ukraine”, the minister touched on a number of topics that are part of the disinformation campaigns conducted by Russia. He drew attention to the essence of relations with the United States and presented possible actions that the international community should take regarding the conflict.

Other speakers at the Forum included Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Amb. Akif Çagatay Kiliç, Chief Advisor to the President for National Security and Foreign Policy of Turkey, and Prof. Xuetong Yan, Honorary Dean, Institute of International Relations, Tsinghua University.

 On the side-lines of the event, Minister Merchant met with Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, National Security Advisor to the Amir of Qatar, Mohammed Al Misnad, and the Chancellor of Georgetown University in Qatar, Dr. Safwan M. Masri.
