Discussions on aid for the refugees from Ukraine

On 24th March, on the initiative of ambassador J. Janke, there was a gathering of the EU ambassadors accredited to the State of Qatar, as well as heads of diplomatic missions of Ukraine, Georgia, Great Britain, Canada and the US diplomats with the representatives of the Education Above All and Walk With Me foundations.

The foundations, with the support of the embassy, established cooperation with partners in Poland in order to help Ukrainian refugees in our country. The purpose of the meeting was to present the foundations’ current projects and to encourage representatives of the embassies to join in further aid projects. The representative of the Qatari Education Above All foundation, Ms Janhvi Kanoria, talked about their educational project aimed at Ukrainian children, while Ms Melissa Mitchell presented an outline of the aid project that could be implemented in cooperation with Caritas of the Kielce Diocese.
