Meeting at The Peninsula

Tomasz Sadziński, charge d'affaires a.i. of the Embassy, met dr. Khalid bin Mubarak Al-Shafi, Editor-in-Chief of Qatar's The Peninsula journal. The talks focused on the situation at the Qatar media market and the development of the cooperation between the embassy and the newspaper.

During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of The Peninsula, evolution of the journal, which was established in 1996, and the media market in Qatar were discussed. Possible frames of cooperation were also agreed between the embassy and the newspaper, aimed to providing Qatari readers with reliable and interesting information about Poland and its presence in Qatar in the area of economy, culture, science and tourism.
