Poland in Qatar

On 24^th October, 2024, Tomasz Sadziński, head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Doha, held a meeting with soldiers from the Polish Military Contingent in Iraq who are stationed at the Qatari-American military Al Udeid Air Base as part of the Operation Inherent Resolve of the Combined Joint Task Force which aims to militarily defeat the Islamic State.

During the conversation, the topics of tasks carried out as part of allied activities, cooperation with coalition partners, including the Qatari side, and plans for further involvement of the Polish Armed Forces in the area were discussed.
