Mr. Tomasz Majewski at the Polish School

On Friday 27th of September, Mr.Tomasz Majewski, vice president of Polish Athletic Association and guardian of our representation at the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships, was a guest at the Polish School of Qatar.

The students enthusiastically received Mr. Tomasz, a renowned Polish shot putter and a double Olympic gold medalist. Mr. Tomasz explained to the students what is the meaning of major sports events for an athlete, whether cheering fans actually helps in the fight for medals and how his adventure with his sport began. He patiently and humorously answered even the most surprising questions. At the end of the meeting commemorative photos with our champion were taken.
