In 2022, AgriteQ returned for its 9th edition from 10 to 14 March at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) to highlight innovation in agricultural techniques, and pinpoint the road map to achieve food security and sustainable development https://agriteq.com/en/agriteq-home/. As in the previous year, the Embassy organized a stand which enabled Polish companies to present their products. In cooperation with the Polish-Qatar Business Council, an invitation was sent out to Polish companies representing the agri-food sector. 12 companies applied to participate in the fairs. However, due to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, many companies were prevented from being able to participate in the event. Only Acerbipharma and Krupiec (local representative of the company) visited Doha this year. Some companies such as Mzuri, Nestor, Vet Vagro delivered their promotional materials (brochures, catalogues, samples) to the stand.
This year, the international AgriteQ & EnviroteQ fairs attracted over 307 exhibitors from 42 countries. According to the organizers it also saw a 28% increase in the number of participants from various countries as compared to the last year’s edition. Also this year, the organizers made it possible for visitors to make direct purchases of local products, incl. vegetables, fruit, honey and dates.
