Poland in Qatar

On the occasion of its 15th anniversary Qatar Science and Technology Park organized the first-ever Artificial Intelligence Week between 24^th and 28^th November

Following a competitive recruitment process, Polish start-ups: Cabiomede Medical Engineering, My Meta Skills and CNC Predict were invited to participate in the event. They had an opportunity to participate in meetings with potential business partners, learn about the support to foreign technology companies offered by the Park, and obtain information about the ecosystem supporting innovation in Qatar. The companies also took part in the second edition of the Global Innovation Link program, together with entities from the USA, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Malaysia and Jordan.

During a meeting with Tomasz Sadziński, head of the mission, on 26^th November representatives of the companies talked about their development plans and exchanged observations on factors supporting and inhibiting the development of innovation in Qatar. They obtained information about the experience of Polish entities on the Qatari market, opportunities and risks related to operations in the country, as well as the potential of cooperation with Qatari entities, including academic centres, in the field of research, development and innovation.
