Poland in Qatar

On December 7-10, 2024, representatives of the Polish Institute of International Affairs and the Center for Eastern Studies visited Qatar to attend Doha Forum 2024.

During their visit to Qatar -  with the support of the embassy - a meeting was organized at the headquarters of the Al Jazeera Center for Studies. Its aim was to establish cooperation between think tanks from Poland and Qatar to exchange of information and conduct joint projects. As part of next year's activities, the Polish side was invited to participate in the forum organized by the Al Jazeera Center for Studies in February 2025 and to organize a joint expert event online. The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss the development of the situation in the Middle East, in particular in Syria, and possible further scenarios, as well as to present perspectives on the war in Ukraine.
