Talks with Qatar Development Bank on Startup Development and Digital Transformation

During Web Summit Qatar on 24th February, Tomasz Sadziński, head of the diplomatic mission, organized a meeting of Polish participants of the event: Eliza Kruczkowska, director of the Innovation Department at the Polish Development Fund and Michał Żukowski, chairman of the Platform of New Innovations, Employers of Poland, as well as chairman of the Innovation Commission at the Polish Football Association with Khalid Abdulla Almana, vice president for business development at Qatar Development Bank.
The subject of the conversation was the presentation of the Polish presence at the event, tasks and priorities of the activities of individual institutions, as well as identification of possible areas of cooperation, in particular in the field of promoting startups or supporting the digital transformation of enterprises.
According to the organizers, the second edition of Web Summit Qatar gathered 25,000 participants from 124 countries, including over 1,500 startups and 600 investors from around the world. It was attended by representatives of 17 Polish companies, among others Comarch Middle East, Campus AI, AI Maturity Index, People More, Next Corpo, Animalhotels, SNOK, Together, GIGLIKE, Semirobotics, Sensey, as well as other Polish professionals (including owners of companies registered in Singapore, the Netherlands, and Germany).
