The meeting with the CEO of Mwani Qatar

On 30 June H.E. Mr. Janusz Janke paid a visit to the Hamad Port, where he met the CEO of Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar), Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, accompanied by the CEO of Qterminals, Mr. Nevill Bissett. The talks concerned the Polish-Qatari cooperation in the maritime sector in the areas of such as infrastructure, logistics and ports’ management.

Captain Abdulla Al-Khanji drew attention to interesting prospects for Qatari-Polish cooperation in the maritime sector, as well as the advantages of the Polish coast in terms of development of transportation lines as well as the ports, which play a leading role in the Baltic Sea basin. He admitted the Qatari side has been following with interest the development of the Polish maritime economy and verifying business opportunities in our country. Ambassador Janusz Janke assured that the Embassy is eager to support bilateral cooperation in the maritime sector. At the same time, he invited all interested parties to participate in the economic event the Embassy is organizing in December.
