The third edition of the Qatar-Poland New Tech Forum

On 30th May 2022, the Embassy organized another edition of the Qatar-Poland New Tech Forum, in cooperation with the Qatar-Poland Business Council and Qatar Financial Center, which, together with PGNiG S.A. and PKN Orlen S.A., was the Strategic Partner of the meeting.

The event was inaugurated with the speeches of Ambassador J. Janke, Yousuf M. Al Jaida, CEO of Qatar Financial Center, Robert Perkowski, Vice President of the Management Board of PGNiG S.A., and Daniel Dybała, President of the Qatar-Poland Business Council. The programme included presentations of Strategic Partners and Qatar economic institutions: Qatar Development Bank, Investment Promotion Agency Qatar and Qatar Free Zones Authority. The event was closed with B2B meetings.

Abdulrahman H. Al Sowaidi, acting as CEO, Qatar Development Bank, Lim Meng Hui, CEO, Qatar Free Zones Authority, as well as representatives of Qatar Science & Technology Park and Qatar Energy participated in the event. A discussion panel on Qatar's needs in the area of new technologies and the related opportunities for Polish suppliers was also organized.

This year's forum was attended by over 100 participants, including representatives of over 20 Polish and 25 Qatar companies.
