Virtual Education Fairs for students from Arabic countries

On April 22nd the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha, organized virtual education fairs for students from Arabic countries. The Embassy undertook a number of activities aimed at promoting the event.

During the virtual education fairs the participants had the opportunity to learn about the educational offer prepared for foreign students by over 50 leading Polish universities (medical, technical and economic). In addition, the organizers made available live chats and skype calls, which allowed direct consultations between students and representatives of universities took place. In total, 88 people participated in the webinars. There was also a lot of interest in posts promoting the event on social media and the official website of the fair.

The embassy's support to the NAWA’s project reflected the growing interest among foreigners, including by graduates from colleges in Qatar, in studying in Poland. In 2020 over 82000 foreigners studied in Poland.

Therefore, the Embassy initiated a media campaign promoting the event and made available brochures on universities of technology, medicine and economy provided by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
