Visit to the Al Udeid Air Base

On 18 February the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the State of Qatar, Mr. Janusz Janke, paid a visit to the Al Udeid Air Base to learn about the activities and tasks of the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC).

Ambassador, by invitation of the deputy director of CAOC, Col. Cory Christoffer, took part in a meeting with officers of the US forces command. During the meeting the political situation in the region and coalition forces involvement in operations in the region were discussed.

During the visit the ambassador met Polish officers serving in the CAOC section responsible for coordinating the mission of the Air Team stationed at the Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.
