Workshops dedicated to supporting development of language skills of Polish bilingual children

On November 22-23 this year, dr Rafal Mlynski from the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, prepared and led demonstration lessons, workshops for parents and methodical training for teachers – volunteers at the Polish School in Qatar at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha.
The workshops were enthusiastically received, the usefulness of the seminars was highly rated and the need to organize further training was emphasized.
Dr Mlynski works at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University, he is a Doctor of Humanities in the field of linguistics, a speech and language therapist and a teacher of a Polish language as a foreign language. He conducts research on children's bilingualism in Poland and abroad and cooperates as a trainer with the Teacher Training Center of the “Polish Community” Association.
The project was implemented with the help of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad and with the support of the "Polish Community" Association.
