“We are satisfied with the development of Polish-Singapore trade exchange this year, especially with the high increase in Polish food exports. In our future activities, we would like to include a cooperation component in areas such as smart cities and new technologies, used as part of innovative solutions for the fintech and govtech sectors” said Ambassador Bogdziewicz during the meeting.
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the economic dimension and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its shaping. The meeting also served to discuss the prospects for parliamentary cooperation between Poland and Singapore, as well as the agreements accompanying the free trade agreement between the EU and Singapore and the status of their ratification. The participants of the meeting also raised the issues of cooperation in a broader, multilateral dimension, agreeing that both countries have similar support for open economies and the rules-based international order.
