Poland in Singapore

On September 28, Ambassador Magdalena Bogdziewicz met with the Singapore Minister of Transport Ong Ye Kung. During the meeting, the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic for international connections and the transport industry in Poland and Singapore were discussed, as well as the possibility of exchanging crews on ships during the pandemic and scenarios of opening up both countries to foreign travelers. The issues of bilateral cooperation in the area of air and sea transport were also discussed, as well as the involvement of the port operator PSA International in the deepwater container terminal in Gdańsk, which is the largest investment project of a Singapore company in Central and Eastern Europe.
