With eighteen Polish universities and a webinar “Study in Poland Discover Europe" Poland was well represented at the 15th edition of the Study in Europe education fair which took place virtually on 25 September.
At the fair, visitors from Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries could explore a broad education offer for international students presented by participating universities and discover many opportunities to start or continue their higher education in Poland in various areas, such as science, technology, business, economics, medicine and humanities.
Opening the live webinar, Ambassador Magdalena Bogdziewicz highlighted the growing popularity of Polish universities, their strong academic offer and the training profile corresponding to the challenges of the modern economy, as confirmed by the growing number of highly qualified graduates of Polish universities well appreciated also in Singapore. Deputy director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) Zofia Sawicka explained the role of NAWA in the internationalization of Polish universities.
The webinar participants could learn about the higher education in Poland and the advantages of studying in the European Union country with internationally recognised standards as well as receive practical advice on admission rules, scholarship offer and everyday life. The first-hand experience from studying in Poland was shared by a Singaporean graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and NAWA scholarship recipient.
Polish participation in the Study in Europe fair was coordinated by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore with the support of NAWA as a part of the Ready, Study Go Poland program (study.gov.pl).
